Welcome to CookSav. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CookSav device, mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by SAV Safety ("we," "our," or "us"). By purchasing, activating, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our Services. By using CookSav, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Services

CookSav provides a smart kitchen safety device and associated software that monitors stove and cooking activity to help prevent kitchen fires and accidents. Our Services include:

• The CookSav hardware device and any related accessories
• Mobile application for monitoring and alert management
• SMS and push notification alert system
• Customer support and device management portal

CookSav is a safety assistance tool and is not a substitute for proper fire safety practices, smoke detectors, or emergency services.

3. SMS Text Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number and opting in to SMS communications, you agree to the following:

• You consent to receive automated text messages from CookSav at the phone number provided
• Messages may include safety alerts, device notifications, verification codes, and promotional content
• Message frequency varies based on device activity and your account settings
• Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan
• Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchasing our products

To opt out: Reply STOP to any text message to cancel. You will receive one confirmation message. To re-subscribe, text START.

Supported carriers include but are not limited to: AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost, Virgin Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and MetroPCS. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your login credentials confidential and secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

5. Device Use and Installation

By installing and using the CookSav device, you agree to:

• Install the device according to the provided instructions
• Use the device only for its intended purpose in residential or permitted commercial settings
• Not tamper with, modify, or disassemble the device
• Maintain a working internet connection for full functionality
• Test alerts and notifications periodically to ensure proper operation

6. Limitation of Liability

CookSav is designed to assist in kitchen safety but cannot guarantee the prevention of all accidents or fires. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any injuries, property damage, or losses resulting from device malfunction, connectivity issues, or failure to alert
• Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the device in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

You acknowledge that CookSav is a supplemental safety tool and does not replace smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, or other required safety equipment.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, software, and technology associated with CookSav and SAV Safety are the exclusive property of SAV Safety. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software or hardware
• Resell or commercially exploit our Services without written authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
